I believe that everyone is on a journey in this life and deserves to experience happiness and joy throughout. Sometimes struggles become overwhelming, and my role is to provide you a safe, nonjudgmental space to sort it all out.
My greatest reward as a counselor is helping my clients explore ways to make positive changes that will lead them to a more balanced and peaceful lifestyle. Because no individual is the same, I cater our time together towards your unique needs using a variety of counseling modalities. I use a strength-based philosophy that empowers you to become resourceful and resilient. I have experience working with clients enduring life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief, and parenting difficulties.
My educational background includes a MS in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and a BS in Health Communications from Grand Valley State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a member of the American Counseling Association.
