Psychotherapist, Author, & National Speaker
As a seasoned clinician of over 20 years, I realize everyone who passes through my door enters with a unique set of needs and experiences. As the client, you set the pace of treatment and together, as a team, we determine what is needed to improve your quality of life. Whether our work can be accomplished in just a few sessions or something more long term is needed, I am here to help you navigate life's challenges.
My approach is to take complex issues and break them down to simple, easy to apply concepts, allowing you to achieve your goals. I find success lies in building on the strengths you already possess and using that as the foundation to build upon. My clients describe me as very direct and to the point, but in a manner that is validating of who they are so that confidence is built to begin changing desired behaviors. One of my goals for every client is that they walk away from each session with practical knowledge they can begin applying that day. For it is the repetitiveness of small behavior changes that lead to big differences.
